# Jelly > Glass jellies full of candy-coloured toys that float like they're in water, tumble out of the way of the pointer and pop into new shapes with every click. A real-time WebGPU experiment by Luis Bizarro. Soft glass shapes (a crumpled drop, a twisting cube, a faceted gem, fused bubbles, a puffy star, an urchin, a heart, a pill, a cloud and a flower) float on a pastel studio backdrop, each full of little kawaii toys: stars, flowers, donuts, pluses, hexagons and moons in six candy colours. The toys are suspended as if in water inside the actual shape of the glass, drifting on small eddies and tumbling; the pointer stirs the glass like a fluid and scatters the toys. Clicking bounces the glass like jelly into the next shape while the toys pop into new shapes and colours. The glass is ray marched through a distance volume baked every frame on the GPU, with spectral refraction that splits light into colour wherever the glass bends it. - Live: https://jelly.bizar.ro/ (needs WebGPU: a recent Chrome, Edge or Safari) - Desktop apps: https://jelly.bizar.ro/downloads/Jelly-macOS.zip, https://jelly.bizar.ro/downloads/Jelly-Windows.zip, https://jelly.bizar.ro/downloads/Jelly-Linux.tar.gz - Built with: Raw WebGPU and WGSL, TypeScript and Vite; the desktop apps in Rust on wgpu. - Author: Luis Bizarro, creative technologist and real-time 3D developer for the web ## Author Luis Bizarro builds real-time 3D for the web with WebGL and WebGPU: shaders, interactive scenes and award-winning creative websites.
